Financial-OS
The custom software
behind every engagement.
Built for my own fractional CFO practice. Live financial truth, insight on every screen, agents handling the routine work — so faster, more accurate numbers replace stale spreadsheets. See it running on real books.
The thesis
AI made the rich-company finance stack accessible. Startups and growing companies can now run on real numbers, in real time — without a full finance team.
What's inside
Six things the platform does, every day, in the background.
Live financial truth
P&L, balance sheet, treasury, A/R, A/P, KPIs — all wired to your books and refreshed automatically. No more "the dashboard is from last month."
Insight on every screen
Every number has a "why" beside it. The AI watches for cash drops, customer concentration, margin slip — and tells you what to do before you ask.
Agents for the routine work
Categorization, bill drafts, receipt capture, anomaly flagging — all gated by a deterministic policy engine. The agent proposes; you sign off on what matters.
Operating cadence built in
Weekly briefings. Monthly close checklist. Quarterly planning. Spend rules. The cadence a mature finance team runs, scaled to where you actually are.
Ask the CFO
A chat trained on your books and Brad's playbook. Ask "should I hire?" and get a real answer grounded in your runway, margin profile, and capacity.
Sync the calendar, not the spreadsheets
Connects QuickBooks, Gusto, Stripe, Plaid, HubSpot, Google Sheets, Excel. The integration registry handles the wiring — you just connect.
How I think about this
The platform is just the implementation.
Most CFO software gets built to fit a workflow. This was built to fit a worldview: that finance is the lens through which every operating decision should be evaluated.
Cash. Margin. Pricing. Hiring. Customer fit. You don't need a CFO to tell you the answer; you need one to frame the question right — and the numbers in front of you to be inarguable when you do.
That's what the platform does. It surfaces. It frames. It instruments the questions a founder should be asking — and answers the ones a CFO would obviously answer.
See it running on real books.
The demo is the live platform with the demo org loaded — same agents, same insights, same data model you'd run on day one.
